2. What data we collect

Data you provide:

  • Email address (waitlist or account registration)
  • CV / LinkedIn export (profile extraction)
  • Professional profile (skills, experience, rate)
  • Application notes and status

Data collected automatically:

  • Usage analytics (page views, feature usage)
  • Device information (browser, OS)
  • IP address (security, abuse prevention)

What we do NOT collect:

  • Payment card information (handled by Stripe)
  • Social security numbers, government IDs, biometric data
  • We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

3. How we use your data

  • Provide the service (scoring, drafting, tracking)
  • Send service-related emails (welcome, alerts, invoices)
  • Analyze usage to improve the product
  • Send marketing emails (only with your consent)

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

4. AI processing

Hyranova uses AI (large language models) to extract profile data, score opportunities, draft proposals, and provide suggestions.

  • AI content is always presented for your review before any action
  • No application is ever submitted automatically
  • Your data is not used to train AI models

5. Where your data is stored

Primary database: EU (Ireland) via Supabase. Some providers (Stripe, analytics, LLM API) process data in the US, protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and encryption.

6. Data retention

  • Account data: until you delete your account
  • Uploaded documents: until you delete them
  • Usage analytics: 24 months
  • Server logs: 90 days
  • Waitlist email: until launch, then migrated or deleted within 30 days

7. Your rights

Under GDPR and Swiss LPD, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, port, restrict, and object to processing of your personal data.

8. Cookies

We ask for consent before activating analytics. No advertising cookies. The product works fully without cookies.

9. Security

All data encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Access restricted to authorized personnel. Per-user access controls on stored documents.
